On Sept. 22, I had the honor of presenting the award for Outstanding Set Design at the NY Innovative Theatre Awards. Travis McHale won for his design for Rubber Ducks and Sunsets. It was a great night and I got to see some old friends receive awards and meet some new ones. Also, I rarely have the opportunity to stand in front of a darkened auditorium full of people and talk, so it was quite an exciting rush!
